Our client, a reputable financial institution, is seeking a Banking Customer Support Representative in Little Rock, AR, with a starting pay of $15 per hour. This role involves handling incoming calls from customers regarding credit and debit card inquiries, utilizing various systems to provide timely and accurate information.

As a Banking Customer Support Representative, you will be the first point of contact for customers, addressing their needs and concerns with professionalism and efficiency. Your ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain strong organizational skills will be crucial in growing and retaining our client’s customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming calls from customers and resolve inquiries related to debit cards.
  • Assist customers with disputes, fraud reports, PIN resets, card activation, and other issues.
  • Set up new debit card accounts, maintain existing accounts, and manage lost/stolen card reports.
  • Input data into multiple systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer support to debit cardholders, branch associates, and the corporate call center.
  • Assist branch associates and customers with instant issue cards.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures, including completing required compliance training.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to interpret documents such as procedure manuals, general business correspondence, and government regulations.
  • Strong written communication skills for writing simple correspondence.
  • Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience in customer support.

Specialized Training:

  • Minimum of one year of clerical and/or secretarial experience.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Other Qualifications:

  • Excellent telephone skills, including a professional speaking voice.
  • Strong customer service attitude and problem-solving abilities.
