At 1st Employment, we are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Coordinator on behalf of our client in Bentonville, Arkansas. This Data Coordinator position supports laboratory operations by accurately entering, organizing, and analyzing test data while assisting senior laboratory staff with documentation and reporting. The Data Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring data integrity, supporting engineers and technicians, and maintaining accurate laboratory records.
The ideal Data Coordinator has strong Excel skills, a solid understanding of laboratory processes, and the ability to manage detailed information with precision. This role requires organization, technical aptitude, and a commitment to accuracy in a structured laboratory environment.
Position Summary
The Data Coordinator is responsible for collecting, reviewing, and entering laboratory test data into Excel spreadsheets and internal systems. This position works closely with laboratory technicians and engineers to ensure test results are properly documented, analyzed, and reported. The Data Coordinator assists in preparing charts, graphs, and reports while maintaining compliance with laboratory procedures and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, organize, and maintain laboratory test data in Excel spreadsheets and laboratory information systems
  • Perform data comparisons and verify accuracy of test results
  • Record observed and calculated data on appropriate data sheets
  • Prepare charts, graphs, and reports to summarize and explain results
  • Assist senior laboratory staff with processing samples and performing routine tests
  • Build or adapt basic test setups as directed
  • Operate general laboratory equipment and measuring instruments
  • Perform routine care and organization of designated laboratory equipment and work areas
  • Read and interpret test plans, datasheets, blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and operational instructions
  • Review and interpret test results with supervisors and engineering staff
  • Communicate with customers during setup and operation to ensure proper evaluation when required
  • Follow defined laboratory procedures and test plans
  • Integrate continuous improvement practices into daily tasks
  • Follow all physical and digital security practices and applicable code of conduct guidelines
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data comparison and spreadsheet management
  • Understanding of laboratory information systems and general laboratory equipment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret data accurately and communicate findings clearly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain compliance standards
  • Comfortable working in a structured laboratory environment
