We are now hiring a Dishwasher for a well-established and reputable hotel located in Little Rock, AR. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining cleanliness and enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher will be a key part of the kitchen team, helping to ensure smooth operations and an exceptional guest experience.
As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for keeping all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen surfaces clean and sanitized throughout each shift. You will work closely with the culinary and kitchen staff to ensure all items are washed promptly and returned to their proper place so the kitchen can run efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work well in a team setting.
This position is located in a professional hotel environment and requires adherence to a dress code of black slacks, black shirt, and black non-slip shoes. A neat and professional appearance is expected at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment or by hand
- Maintain cleanliness of dish area, kitchen floors, and trash areas
- Properly store clean items in designated areas
- Ensure all cleaning and sanitation standards are met
- Assist with kitchen prep and cleaning tasks as needed
- Work as part of a team to support overall kitchen operations
Qualifications
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Must wear black slacks, black shirt, and black non-slip shoes
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
