Job Details
As a Dishwasher/Kitchen Staff Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and efficiency of our client’s cafeteria operations. Your primary responsibilities include preparing and serving food to customers, completing daily cleaning tasks, handling and preparing food in adherence to safety and sanitation standards, assisting with the storage of food and supplies, operating the cash register, and ensuring the kitchen is closed and secured at the end of each shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food to customers in the cafeteria.
- Complete daily cleaning assignments to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Handle and prepare food in a safe and sanitary manner.
- Assist with the storage of food and supplies according to policy.
- Operate cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Close and secure the kitchen at the end of the shift.
Qualifications
- Previous institutional food service cooking and/or short order cooking experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
