Document Control Specialist
Location: Fayetteville, AR
Salary: $19 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Control Specialist to join our team in Fayetteville, AR. As the Document Control Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to manage, develop, coordinate, and maintain documents for the Conagra Performance System (CPS) in alignment with operations and Conagra CPS requirements. You will play a crucial role in processing documents for revision and approval, ensuring proper organization from conception to distribution and filing, and developing systems to train staff on document control processes.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Process Documentation: Assist in the development of process documentation and collaborate with process owners to ensure correct document structure and usage of control tools.
CPS Structure Maintenance: Manage and maintain the CPS structure, serving as a feedback information system to support continuous improvement processes.
Coordinating with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with the Continuous Improvement Manager, EH&S representative, and Operations representative to track and issue documents, ensuring compliance with regulations, and revising documentation as necessary.
Document Archiving: Scan and organize documents or images, adhering to the company’s document lifecycle procedures, and appropriately archiving inactive documents and records.
Customer Concerns and Product Problems: Review and advise plant staff and upper management on customer concerns and product issues, providing recommendations for improvements.
Back-Up for Process Lead: Act as the primary back-up for a process lead within the team.
Project and Team Participation: Serve on project or permanent teams as required to address special issues or problems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant work experience.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage various documents and processes effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
Familiarity with document control processes and tools is preferred.
Ability to adhere to regulations and compliance requirements related to document management.
Proficiency in scanning, organizing, and maintaining documents in digital and physical formats.
Problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and recommend improvements.
Strong multitasking abilities to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
