Job Summary:
As an Engineering Technician you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and improving product quality and manufacturing processes. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement work instructions, quality standards, conduct analyses, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Production SOP’s, Alerts, Forms
  • Determine cycle times for operations.
  • Line and facility layouts
  • Improvement Projects
You will also be involved in the following:
  • Work Instructions:
    • Develop, implement, and maintain production and quality control procedures and systems.
    • Ensure adherence to quality standards and industry regulations.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in manufacturing and quality control.
    • Collaborate with teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Root Cause Analysis:
    • Conduct root cause analyses for quality issues and non-conformities.
    • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address identified root causes.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Generate reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with engineering, production, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of production work instructions and quality control processes.
    • Provide guidance on quality-related matters to different teams.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of production work instructions, quality procedures, inspections, and audits.
    • Ensure documentation is in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Training:
    • Provide training to personnel on production work instructions and quality control procedures and standards.
    • Foster a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications in manufacturing is a plus.
  2. Experience:
    1. Proven experience in a technical role in a manufacturing environment.
    2. Familiarity with quality management systems and methodologies.
  3. Skills:
    1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    3. Proficient in statistical analysis and quality tools.
  1. Knowledge:
    1. In-depth knowledge of quality standards, regulations, and best practices.
    2. Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean, or other quality improvement methodologies.
  1. Software Proficiency:
    1. Experience with quality management software and tools.
  1. Leadership:
    1. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive quality initiatives.
