Job Details
The Production Instructor supervises adults with developmental disabilities in a prevocational setting. This position is responsible for daily work assignments, production tracking, safety oversight, and ensuring quality and timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate is organized, attentive, and committed to supporting a positive, inclusive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and assist clients in daily work assignments
- Ensure safety and awareness of client needs at all times
- Train and instruct clients/staff to achieve quality outcomes
- Maintain accurate daily production and client progress records
- Support task analysis and skill development for clients
- Set up workstations and meet production goals
- Participate in reporting, re-work, and inventory tasks as needed
- Report equipment issues and request maintenance
- Comply with HIPAA and confidentiality requirements
- Demonstrate flexibility to meet program needs and extended hours when necessary
Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience in a related field preferred
- Ability to read, write, and perform simple math
- Must pass background checks, drug screening, and maltreatment registry checks
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs
