1st Employment is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper for a client hotel in Bentonville, AR. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and common areas while providing exceptional service and helping create a positive guest experience.
The Housekeeper plays an important role in ensuring hotel cleanliness standards are consistently met and that guests enjoy a pleasant stay. Candidates should be reliable, hardworking, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish room amenities and supplies.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish surfaces as needed.
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste properly.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to management.
- Ensure all assigned areas meet hotel cleanliness and quality standards.
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.
- Respond to guest requests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and supply inventories.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds regularly.
