Job Details
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our client’s team in Benton, AR. This role provides vital HR support to the plant, ensuring smooth onboarding, compliance, and employee relations processes. Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Employee Relations:
- Establish personnel files and conduct pre-hire orientation and training.
- Own the employee onboarding and offboarding process, working with managers to ensure a smooth experience.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for I-9 documentation, ensuring compliance with E-Verify and other regulatory programs.
- Conduct regular I-9 audits and process I-9 forms weekly, verifying and uploading data into Paycom.
- Craft and distribute communication materials related to onboarding, policies, and company information.
HR Administration & Compliance:
- Maintain attendance policy records, track points, and issue disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Manage leave of absence administration, short-term disability, and benefits reporting.
- Assist employees with pay, benefits, schedules, and workplace concerns, fostering an open and approachable HR environment.
- Act as the back-up receptionist, phone operator, and gate monitor when needed.
- Support training initiatives by establishing schedules and maintaining training records.
- Provide customer service for HR-related inquiries, including hiring, benefits, and compensation.
HR Data Management & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate employee records in Paycom and other HR systems.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure personnel data is up to date and compliant with company standards.
- Support HR functions such as benefits eligibility, workforce administration, position control, and pay administration.
- Assist with HR reporting and ad hoc projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Business with an HR concentration OR three (3) years of experience in an industrial HR setting.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems (Paycom preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Approachable and employee-focused personality with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with legal documents and HR regulations.
