Job Details
As an Industrial Maintenance Tech with our client, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment to ensure optimal functionality. You will initially train on the day shift from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, for a period of 2 to 4 weeks. After training, you will transition to one of our night shift teams, working from 6pm to 6:30am. The pay range for this position is $18 to $25 per hour, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment as directed.
- Conduct tasks such as greasing mechanical equipment, aligning conveyor belts, cleaning sump holes and water troughs, modifying and repairing plumbing, and organizing equipment, parts, and projects.
- Assist with painting and cleaning tasks as instructed.
- Utilize strong mechanical skills for troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment.
- Possess a general understanding of electrical systems.
- Familiarity with pumps and plumbing systems.
- Ability to perform cutting and welding tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment between major projects.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and collaborate effectively with team members.
Qualifications
- Must obtain their Boiler License.
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance and equipment repair.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of electrical systems is advantageous.
- Familiarity with pumps, plumbing systems, cutting, and welding.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
