We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Staff Member to join our client’s team in Little Rock, AR. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth kitchen operations by preparing food items according to established recipes and maintaining the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to a team-oriented atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare food items following established recipes and portion guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety regulations.
- Work efficiently at a designated cooking station, such as breakfast preparation or line cooking.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of meals for guests.
- Assist in ingredient prep, including chopping, measuring, and assembling dishes.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate needs to kitchen leadership.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including dishwashing and kitchen sanitation tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
