Job Details

As a Lead Technician in Fayetteville, AR, you will play a vital role in overseeing, facilitating, and assisting shift Maintenance Techs in maintaining and repairing production and packaging line equipment and machinery. Your primary responsibilities include troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and installations of equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, GMP standards, and maintaining efficient product flow through the production process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Check schedule and complete “pass-over” with the previous shift operator, address maintenance issues, and resolve concerns.
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and perform safety checks on equipment.
  • Verify production line set-up, prioritize maintenance requests, and coordinate with co-workers/supervisor for timely completion of work.
  • Oversee, facilitate, and assist shift Maintenance Mechanics with assigned tasks and line calls.
  • Coordinate line calls, assign maintenance tasks, and provide guidance to maintenance personnel and contractors.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, adjust, install, and modify electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and plans, perform installations, fabrications, and maintain maintenance logs.
  • Perform clean-up, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks as required.
  • Assist other trades with repairs, replacements, adjustments, modifications, and special projects.
  • Complete all required paperwork, notify production personnel, and secure equipment at the end of the shift.


  • 5-7 years of experience in industrial-manufacturing mechanical maintenance or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office and the ability to learn company software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good organizational and time management skills.
  • Physical fitness for job demands and completion of required trainings such as Forklift, LOTO, Confined Space, Fall Protection, SCBA level A, and Chemical Training.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal, written, digital) and adherence to Good Manufacturing Procedures.
  • Availability for scheduled shifts, required overtime, and ability to access all work areas and vehicles.
  • Proficiency in English for job-related communication and safety regulations.
  • Successful completion of mandatory drug and alcohol screening and company background check.
