We are currently seeking an experienced and dependable Line Cook to join the culinary team at a reputable hotel in Rogers, AR. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a professional kitchen environment where quality, consistency, and teamwork are top priorities. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to established recipes and standards, helping to ensure a memorable dining experience for hotel guests and patrons.
As a Line Cook, you will work closely with the kitchen staff and leadership team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work station. Responsibilities include prepping ingredients, setting up stations, cooking food to order, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout each shift. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while paying close attention to detail and presentation.
The dress code for this position is black on black, which includes black slacks and black non-slip shoes. A professional and polished appearance is required at all times in keeping with the hotel’s high standards of service and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to hotel standards
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas
- Communicate effectively with team members and kitchen staff
- Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation of all dishes
- Assist with inventory, prep, and other kitchen tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a professional kitchen preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen sanitation
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Must wear black slacks and black non-slip shoes; black top required
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
