Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Associate to join our client’s production team in Fayetteville, AR. This role plays a crucial part in the manufacturing process by assembling, packing, preparing, and testing products while ensuring high-quality standards. The Assembly Associate will also contribute to the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for production work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manufacturing tasks to support production while meeting cost objectives and quality standards.
  • Prepare and assemble components based on production aids, blueprints, and instructions.
  • Build electrical and electronic systems, install components, subassemblies, wiring, and assembly casings using hand and power tools.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace electrical and electronic components to correct defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Install hardware, tape, mask, and inspect assembled components to ensure proper quality control.
  • Set up kits for build lines, including pulling KanBan parts, refilling bins, and managing inventory through computerized systems.
  • Check solder quality and perform repairs as needed.
  • Read and interpret technical documents such as diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports.
  • Conduct quality inspections and tests throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Work closely with engineers, managers, production supervisors, and team leads to review work activities and resolve production issues.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and root cause analysis to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness on the production line.

Additional Duties:

  • Operate various assembly equipment to support production.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned within the Operations Department.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in mechanical or electronic assembly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in standard office software, including email, word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
