Annual Salary: $60,000

 

Position Summary:

The Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst plays a critical role in supporting our clients through the intricate stages of mergers and acquisitions. This position primarily involves analyzing financial data, conducting due diligence, and evaluating company processes to provide valuable insights to our clients. We are seeking an exceptionally analytical individual with a keen eye for detail to join our team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Financial Analysis: Evaluate financial reports, statements, and forecasts to assess the financial health and potential risks and benefits of M&A transactions.

Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence investigations to uncover any potential issues or discrepancies.

Company Assessment: Study and analyze target companies’ operations, processes, and market position to provide strategic recommendations.

Data Management: Organize and manage data related to M&A transactions, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders.

Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes relevant to M&A activities.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure successful transaction execution.

Adherence to Regulations: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements throughout the M&A process.

Qualifications:

 

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a meticulous attention to detail.

Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial analysis, or related fields.

Education: A bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Excel Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must; experience with financial modeling is a plus.

Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
