Job Details
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Millwright for our client in Little Rock, AR. This role offers competitive pay at $23/hour and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment where safety and precision are top priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Assembly and Installation: Assemble and install machinery, ensuring all equipment is tested and functioning correctly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all approved safety regulations, maintaining a secure work environment.
- Equipment Placement: Manage the layout and placement of equipment and machinery within factory settings to minimize downtime and optimize workflow.
- Machine Repair: Identify and repair problematic parts of machines by conducting tests, performing temporary fixes, or installing replacement parts.
- Equipment Replacement: Dismantle older machinery and replace it with new, updated equipment as needed.
- Preventive Maintenance: Oversee preventive maintenance tasks by identifying and correcting potential issues, removing worn components, and lubricating mechanical parts to ensure efficient operation.
- Material Handling: Utilize machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, to safely move mechanical parts and equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience in assembling, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts or similar equipment.
- Commitment to safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
