Job Details
We are currently seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Molding Storage Technician to join our client’s team in Little Rock, AR. The Molding Storage Technician plays a critical role in maintaining molds and tooling to ensure efficient production and high-quality output. The Molding Storage Technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance on molds and tooling, as well as assisting with repairs and component replacements. This role requires hands-on mechanical work, attention to detail, and the ability to safely operate various shop equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on molds and tooling
- Disassemble and reassemble molds and related components
- Change out components on injection molds as needed
- Identify tool damage and assist toolmakers with minor repairs
- Use polishing stones, part washers, and other shop tools
- Operate lift trucks and overhead cranes to move molds and equipment
- Utilize voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Work closely with Lead and Senior Technicians
- Support quality standards and adhere to documented procedures and work instructions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to grow in the tooling trade
- Ability to use hand tools and basic shop equipment
- Strong math and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to read and write in English clearly and effectively
- Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
