Our client in Little Rock, AR is currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Order Management Specialist / Customer Service Representative to join their team. This position pays $19/hour and plays a key role in supporting the Sales Department by serving as the primary point of contact for customers. The Order Management Specialist / Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring effective communication between the customer and internal departments. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience working with global logistics and order tracking systems. A strong commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between customers and the manufacturing facility.
- Enter and track orders in the system and confirm parts availability.
- Research and verify credits, issue billing and credit memos, and manage product returns (RMA).
- Provide technical assistance and product information to customers.
- Coordinate with global freight forwarding companies to ensure accurate documentation and timely international shipments.
- Work with internal departments such as customer service, sales, production, and quality assurance to address customer complaints and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with company quality policies and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation meets regulatory and customer requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to order management and customer service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, international business, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership of customer issues.
- Proficient in SAP, Microsoft Office, and other business applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in export shipping and global logistics is required.
- Familiarity with technical terminology related to plumbing and piping is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple customer accounts and work in a collaborative team environment.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
