Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for leading cross-functional teams and ensuring project success? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our client’s team in Springdale, AR, as a Project Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in coordinating the phase-in and phase-out processes for all machines at the US Distribution Center (USDC). You will also provide essential support for major projects assigned to our USDC Project Management Team, ensuring alignment with global cross-functional teams and processes to meet customer expectations. Additionally, you will contribute to Manufacturing Engineering support for Value-Added production.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Lead, coordinate, and track cross-functional teams through the phase-in of new products and the phasing-out of existing machines sold from the USDC.

Act as a liaison between local teams, other company locations, departments, and global teams. Facilitate effective information flow and utilize your product expertise to guide teams.

Ensure tasks are aligned for timely project implementation according to deadlines. Familiarity with the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process is essential.

Provide support for all major projects assigned to the USDC Project Management Team.

Identify and address discrepancies or issues that could impact the USDC negatively.

Conduct cost evaluations for informed decision-making.

Manage project-related documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for both existing and new processes.

Collaborate with Private Label Product Management on product phase-ins, phase-outs, and conversions. This includes providing cost estimates, creating and implementing Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), managing machine pilots, creating serial labels, and overseeing over-stock conversions.

Extract and analyze ERP data based on project parameters.

Maintain Manufacturing Engineering support for various functions within the USDC.

Minimum Requirements:

 

Education:

 

Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

 

Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies.

Experience in an assembly/manufacturing environment, preferred.

Knowledge & Personal Attributes:

 

Strong leadership skills with a proactive approach.

Effective team player who can lead and facilitate cross-functional teams and deliver compelling presentations.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work cohesively within a team.

Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills.

Proficiency in handling and deriving solutions from complex data.

Capability to create tracking tools, Gantt charts, and analyses using documented processes.

Ensuring schedules and budgets are on target while managing move processes according to plan and business needs.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Engineering analytical and reporting proficiency.

Basic understanding of project management concepts.

Computer Skills:

 

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Proficiency in Microsoft SQL, with experience being an advantage.

Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Project Management Certification is preferred.

Working knowledge of simulation software is desirable.

Working knowledge of ERP systems, such as BAAN LN & SAP.
