Job Details
We are seeking a highly organized Provider Network Specialist I to join our client in Little Rock, AR. This role involves performing various operational support activities, including provider network enrollment, credentialing, and contracting, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately, on time, and in full compliance with established policies, guidelines, and relevant laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and facilitate the enrollment and credentialing processes for providers, ensuring all documentation and requirements are met.
- Support provider contracting by maintaining accurate records and assisting with the execution of contracts.
- Ensure that all provider-related casework is completed in accordance with federal and state regulations as well as company policies.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve issues related to claims processing, customer service, and membership enrollment.
- Monitor and maintain provider data accuracy, ensuring records are up-to-date and compliant with credentialing standards.
- Coordinate daily operational tasks related to provider network management, making sure deadlines are met.
- Support campus travel needs by occasionally traveling within the immediate vicinity of the work location as required.
- Communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a professional and service-oriented approach in all interactions.
- Assist with general administrative duties to ensure the efficient operation of the office.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, to create and maintain documentation, spreadsheets, and reports.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of two (2) years of operations support experience related to provider networking, claims processing, customer service, membership enrollment, or other relevant fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey information verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated experience with provider credentialing and contracts.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong initiative and ability to follow through on projects to completion.
