$13.50–$14.00/hour (Depending on shift)

Job Details

Our client in Danville, AR is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join their production team. The Quality Control Inspector will play a key role in monitoring, inspecting, and verifying that products meet established standards and specifications throughout the manufacturing process. This individual will perform routine checks, ensure equipment calibrations are current, and maintain accurate inspection records. The Quality Control Inspector is essential to maintaining product quality and ensuring only conforming items proceed through production and into distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect products at various stages of production per approved inspection and sampling plans
  • Conduct floor inspections every 30 minutes and perform additional visual checks between those intervals
  • Monitor and maintain equipment calibration records, ensuring tools and gauges are up to date
  • Accept or reject products based on inspection results and report any quality concerns to supervisors
  • Evaluate and approve or reject equipment for use based on calibration results
  • Assist in the setup and loading of sorters and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Operate and maintain the wash system, ensuring crates and containers are properly labeled and managed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the inspection area
  • Communicate with Quality Lab Manager and production team regarding any unresolved issues
  • Document and report findings clearly and accurately using written communication and basic computer systems

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • No prior experience necessary; training will be provided
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and written specifications
  • Proficient with measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to use inspection software
  • Strong math skills including the ability to work with whole numbers, fractions, decimals, geometry, and algebra
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand English
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in hot, humid, and moderate-noise environments
  • Must have a current eye exam on file
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to changing production needs
