Quality Lab Supervisor

Job Details

Our client is seeking a Quality Lab Supervisor to lead and oversee laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) standards while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and reliability in testing and analysis. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and regulatory knowledge to manage laboratory personnel, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Good organizational skills.
• Proficient in the use of micrometers, calipers and able to learn other measurement systems
• Manage and able to perform gage calibration duties.
• To be able to interpret customer and process drawings and specifications as required.
• To be able to address quality concerns as they arise and make informed decisions on what actions are needed to be taken.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Perform the daily activities of the Quality lab and shop floor inspections as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and data bases.
• Knowledge of concepts and methodologies of Quality Assurance
• Certifications in Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Technician or Quality Inspector a plus
