We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager for our client in Conway, AR. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to join a growing company and take on a leadership role within the supply chain department. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships to ensure an efficient and cost-effective flow of goods from suppliers to customers.
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will play a critical role in developing and executing supply chain strategies that align with company goals. You will collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and distribution partners to optimize processes and improve overall efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a proven background in supply chain management, and the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory control, logistics, and distribution.
- Develop strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers.
- Oversee demand planning and forecasting to ensure product availability and minimize shortages.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supply chain effectiveness.
- Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Collaborate with other departments including operations, production, and sales to ensure alignment across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management or a related role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
