Position Overview:
As a Tax Preparer, you will assist individuals and businesses in preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and helping clients optimize their refunds. This role runs from November through April, the peak tax season, with flexible full-time and part-time scheduling options to suit your availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews with clients to gather required financial information.
- Input financial details accurately into tax preparation software.
- Calculate tax liabilities, deductions, and credits in compliance with regulations.
- Verify the accuracy of prepared tax returns before submission.
- Explain tax-related issues to clients and provide clear answers to their questions.
- Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations to deliver accurate advice.
Qualifications
