Job Details
We’re hiring a dependable and motivated Thrift Store Driver for our client in Hot Springs, AR. This role is essential to keeping thrift store operations running smoothly by picking up donations and delivering items to customers using a box truck.
The Thrift Store Driver follows scheduled routes, safely handles donated goods like furniture and clothing, and ensures all items are loaded and unloaded with care. The job also includes following all driving rules and company policies. When not on the road, the driver will help with tasks in the warehouse and thrift store as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive a box truck on assigned routes to pick up donations and deliver merchandise
- Follow all traffic laws and organizational driving protocols
- Load and unload donated items safely, including heavy furniture and large appliances
- Maintain accurate records of pick-ups and deliveries
- Ensure safety, security, and accountability of vehicle and cargo at all times
- Assist with warehouse and thrift store operations as required
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the Hot Springs area and surrounding routes
- Ability to organize and optimize delivery/pick-up routes to save fuel and time
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy items regularly
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
