Hourly Pay: $19 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tool & Die Maker to join our client’s team in Fayetteville, AR. As a Tool & Die Maker, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of toolmaker skills using shop equipment such as milling machines, lathes, precision grinding machines (O.D., I.D., CNC), jig grinding, surface grinding, and hand working. Your expertise in machining operations and precision measurements will be essential to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.

Essential Functions:

Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing a complete set of toolmaker skills with various shop equipment, including milling machines, lathes, CNC mills, CNC lathes, precision O.D. and I.D. grinding machines, jig grinding, surface grinding, as well as hand working and polishing dies to print.

Perform machining operations with a high degree of accuracy and within specified timeframes to meet production requirements.

Possess a strong working knowledge of gauges, precision measuring instruments, and other necessary inspection equipment to ensure the quality and precision of machined parts.

Utilize advanced shop mathematics, including trigonometry, to assist in complex machining tasks.

Maintain an active standing/walking position during the entire shift and be capable of bending/twisting throughout approximately 80% of the shift.

Lift, push, and pull up to 60 lbs. of tooling and die machine parts safely and effectively.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Tool & Die Maker or in a similar role is required.

Proficiency in using various shop equipment, including milling machines, lathes, and grinding machines.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and gauges.

Knowledge of advanced shop mathematics, including trigonometry.

Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift up to 60 lbs. of machine parts.
