We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing facility in Danville, AR. This position is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual with a strong mechanical aptitude and a dedication to safety, productivity, and quality. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and systems throughout the facility.
The ideal Maintenance Technician will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and be well-versed in general mechanical repairs, with knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics considered a plus. This individual will support production by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting machinery, and responding promptly to equipment failures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of machines and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
- Adhere to safety standards and ensure safe operation of all equipment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement effective solutions.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of five years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment operation.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics is preferred.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing software.
