1st Employment is a complete staffing solutions company. We work with company and job seekers to determine the best fit, whether that’s temporary employment, temp-to-permanent work, or direct hire.
1st Employment offers direct hire services, which means that employers hire the workers we find for them directly. In that case, you will work for the company that hires you and they will pay you. However, 1st Employment also offers hiring solutions, so you may be a 1st Employment employee. In that case, 1st Employment will be your employer and will pay you.
Timecards are due each Monday before 10AM for the previous workweek. Each 1st Employment location has a drop box for time cards left after business hours and weekends. Friday is payday for the hours turned in that Monday. 1st Employment can deposit your wages directly to your bank account, or you can pick up a check. Some customer locations 1st Employment will deliver your check each week. You can cash your check at any Simmons First Bank location if you don’t have a bank account of your own.
