We are currently seeking a Laboratory Technician for a full-time position in Little Rock, AR. The starting pay for this role is $14 per hour, with opportunities for regular overtime and occasional Saturday work. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in a laboratory setting, supporting daily operations.
As a Laboratory Technician, your responsibilities will include tasks critical to the smooth running of the laboratory. You will be involved in both routine and specialized duties that require precision and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily laboratory cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Wash and sterilize laboratory glassware and equipment
- Prepare samples for testing following established procedures
- Operate and maintain analytical balances and ovens
- Handle light chemical substances safely and efficiently
- Perform repetitive tasks requiring high levels of manual dexterity
- Adhere to detailed written procedures to ensure accurate results
- Assist with medium physical labor, including lifting items up to 50 pounds
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
