Our staffing agency is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping Coordinator for one of our valued customers in Greenwood, AR. This temporary opportunity is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has experience managing shipping documentation, coordinating freight, and maintaining accurate records. The Shipping Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring outbound shipments are processed accurately and efficiently while supporting daily logistics operations.

The Shipping Coordinator will assist with daily shipping functions, including the preparation and auditing of shipment documentation, communication with carriers, and coordination with third-party warehouses. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record, log, audit for accuracy, distribute, release after pickup, and file Finished Goods Bills of Lading
  • Create, distribute, confirm receipt of, and file export documentation
  • Prepare and audit Miscellaneous Shipping Orders (MSO) for Finished Goods and Raw Materials
  • Notify carriers of freight pickups and schedule transportation as needed
  • Generate bills of lading for direct shipments to other division locations
  • Communicate with third-party warehouse partners regarding shipment pickups and receipt confirmations
  • Maintain accurate and detailed shipment records to satellite plants and distribution centers
  • Support additional shipping and logistics tasks as assigned by leadership

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of related shipping, logistics, or manufacturing experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or material handling environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of transportation processes and shipping systems
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and shipping management software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently despite frequent interruptions
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments
