We are currently seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our client’s grounds maintenance team as a Lawn Care Worker. This Lawn Care Worker position is a temporary opportunity designed for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in maintaining clean, well-kept landscapes. The Lawn Care Worker will play a key role in ensuring lawns, green spaces, and outdoor areas are visually appealing and properly maintained. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. Candidates who are reliable and comfortable with physical, hands-on work will be a strong fit for this Lawn Care Worker position.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed trimming (weed-eating) around buildings, fences, trees, and other landscape features
- Edge sidewalks, driveways, and pathways to create clean, sharp lines and a polished appearance
- Operate blowers to remove grass clippings, leaves, and debris from lawns and walkways
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment used throughout the day
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
- Assist with general lawn and landscape maintenance as directed by supervisors
- Work closely with team members to complete assigned tasks efficiently and on schedule
- Identify and report any equipment issues or maintenance needs
- Support additional groundskeeping duties as needed to maintain overall property appearance
Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Previous lawn care or landscaping experience is preferred but not required
- Must be able to maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
- Work is performed primarily outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive motion
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
- Exposure to outdoor elements such as heat, humidity, and early morning conditions
