Job Details
We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our client’s warehouse team in Hot Springs, AR. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently handling materials, supporting both production and warehouse operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring that products are moved, stored, and shipped correctly, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to move products from the production line to designated storage or shipping areas.
- Load and unload products from transport vehicles, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Verify load sheets and confirm that trucks receive the correct equipment and product loads.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly warehouse and loading dock area.
- Assist with inventory activities, including daily cycle counts.
- Support shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely product movement.
- Order products as needed and assist with inventory control.
- Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to meet company goals.
Qualifications
- *Steel toe boots are required.*
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Forklift experience and current certification required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to work safely in all weather conditions.
- Basic computer and data entry skills, along with solid math abilities.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including extended shifts and weekends when necessary.
- Ability to safely lift up to 66 lbs.
