We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance & Repair Technician for our client in North Little Rock, AR. The ideal Maintenance & Repair Technician will play a critical role in ensuring facility systems, infrastructure, and grounds are properly maintained to support safe and efficient operations.
Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required. All candidates must be able to read, speak, and understand English well enough to follow safety procedures, written instructions, and verbal communication without the use of translation devices.
The Maintenance & Repair Technician is responsible for performing both preventive and corrective maintenance across a variety of systems. This includes troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This role also involves maintaining building structures, performing groundskeeping tasks, and supporting general facility upkeep. The Maintenance & Repair Technician will routinely inspect equipment and infrastructure to identify potential issues before they impact operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting
- Repair and maintain facility structures such as walls, doors, flooring, and roofing
- Maintain exterior areas including landscaping, parking lots, and walkways
- Troubleshoot and repair facility-related mechanical and utility systems
- Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Utilize CMMS systems to track work orders and maintenance activities
- Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when needed
- Assist with facility upgrades, installations, and improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, or industrial environments
- Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple systems
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance tracking
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, frequent standing, bending, climbing, and working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
