Job Details

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Retail Assistant Store Manager for our client in Springdale, AR. This Retail Assistant Store Manager role is ideal for someone with a strong sales background who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoys leading a team to success. The Retail Assistant Store Manager will work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales performance, maintain store operations, and ensure an exceptional customer experience.

As a Retail Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in both the front-end retail environment and supporting warehouse-related functions. This position requires a hands-on leader who can balance customer service, team development, and operational responsibilities while consistently working toward sales goals. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and passionate about delivering results.

 

Schedule:

Monday through Saturday, 8:45 AM to 5:30 PM (one weekday off, closed Sundays)

Must be available to work all Saturdays

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers, identify their needs, and recommend appropriate products and services
  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing sales outlets including sports bars, apartment complexes, builders, and restaurants
  • Plan and organize daily sales activities, including outreach and follow-up
  • Partner with the Store Manager to meet or exceed sales goals by training, mentoring, and motivating staff
  • Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback to improve results
  • Submit daily call reports and weekly work plans to keep management informed
  • Track competitor activity, including pricing, products, and merchandising strategies
  • Resolve customer concerns by identifying issues and implementing effective solutions
  • Maintain strong product knowledge through continuous learning and training
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
  • Oversee store administration and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and visual merchandising standards
  • Assist with additional store management duties as needed

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Retail Assistant Store Manager or similar leadership role in retail sales
  • Strong sales background with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling 50–75 lbs regularly
  • Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
