We are hiring a reliable and hardworking Tire & Lube Technician to join our client’s automotive service team in Greenwood, AR. This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunity with the potential to move into a permanent role. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and a customer-focused mindset. As a Tire & Lube Technician, you will play an important role in ensuring vehicles are properly maintained and safe for the road. The Tire & Lube Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of routine maintenance services, including tire care and basic automotive upkeep. This position requires efficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, rotate, balance, and replace tires as needed
  • Perform oil changes, fluid checks, and top-offs
  • Complete routine maintenance services according to company standards
  • Identify and communicate minor mechanical issues to leadership
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Provide excellent customer service and clearly communicate with customers as needed
  • Assist team members as necessary to meet daily production goals

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–2 years of experience in automotive repair, tire service, or a related field preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
Working Conditions
The Tire & Lube Technician will work in an automotive shop environment that may include exposure to loud noise, automotive chemicals, and varying temperatures. This role requires standing for long periods, bending, lifting, and working with tools and equipment. A flexible schedule may be required, including occasional weekends based on business needs.
