Our client is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join their team in Benton, AR. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule and is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with customers in a fast-paced retail environment.
The Retail Sales Associate plays a key role in creating a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, answering product questions, processing sales transactions, and maintaining an organized and welcoming store environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide outstanding customer service
- Assist customers in locating products and making purchasing decisions
- Answer questions and provide accurate product information and recommendations
- Operate the cash register and process sales transactions accurately
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods
- Stock shelves and maintain attractive product displays
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low-stock items
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with inquiries
- Support daily store operations and complete additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Basic computer proficiency and cash-handling experience
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience preferred but not required
