Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator to support the recruitment and onboarding of production employees. This position plays a key role in creating a positive hiring experience by assisting applicants throughout the recruitment process, coordinating interviews and pre-employment activities, and ensuring all new hire documentation is completed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong administrative abilities, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality while delivering exceptional customer service.
As a Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator, you will serve as one of the first points of contact for job applicants, providing guidance from the initial application through new employee orientation. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced office environment, and is passionate about supporting the hiring process.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist job applicants and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Answer incoming phone calls, respond to email inquiries, and provide information regarding employment opportunities.
- Assist applicants with completing computer-based employment applications and ensure all information is accurate.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, facility tours, and pre-employment screenings.
- Partner with recruiters to ensure applications are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Print and prepare new hire paperwork and maintain organized personnel files.
- Verify previous employment history and complete employment verification requests.
- Conduct new employee orientations for English, Spanish, and Marshallese-speaking employees.
- Verify and document completion of all required onboarding and training activities.
- Enter new hire information into the HRIS system with a high level of accuracy.
- Transfer completed onboarding documentation to the appropriate facility.
- Create employee identification badges for new hires.
- Perform general administrative duties including filing, copying, and maintaining confidential records.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in an office environment working with the public and handling confidential information.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Marshallese required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and computer skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Previous Human Resources experience is preferred.
