Our staffing agency is seeking six Banquet Servers for a one-day event with one of our clients in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. This temporary assignment is scheduled for September 4th from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. We are looking for dependable, professional individuals who enjoy working with people and can provide excellent customer service in a banquet and event setting.

As a Banquet Server, you will assist with setting up the event, serving food and beverages, clearing tables, and maintaining a clean and organized banquet area. The Banquet Server will help ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and efficient service throughout the event. This position requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

The Banquet Server will assist with event setup, including preparing tables, placing linens, and organizing service stations as directed. During the event, Banquet Servers will serve food and beverages to guests, clear plates and glassware, maintain clean service areas, and respond professionally to guest needs. Following directions and working efficiently with other event staff will be essential to the success of the event.

Responsibilities

Assist with banquet setup and breakdown as directed.
Prepare tables and service areas for guests.
Serve food and beverages in a professional and courteous manner.
Clear plates, dishes, and glassware throughout the event.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet and service areas.
Respond to guest needs and requests professionally.
Follow event timelines and service procedures.
Work closely with other Banquet Servers and event staff.
Follow all client safety and service guidelines.
Perform other event-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous banquet, serving, catering, hospitality, or event experience is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Professional appearance and ability to follow the required dress code.
Dependable and punctual with the ability to work the entire scheduled shift.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Positive attitude and willingness to follow directions.
Must be reliable and prepared to work the full 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM assignment.
