Job Details
We are seeking a Eligibility and Enrollment Specialist to join our client’s team. This role involves enrolling plan members into programs and initiatives for which they qualify while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls and handle inbound inquiries to enroll members in appropriate programs.
- Perform operational support activities to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and industry guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with providers, members, and internal teams to facilitate the enrollment process.
- Utilize basic PC skills to generate reports, prepare correspondence, and update procedural documentation.
- Meet departmental standards for accuracy, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain open communication with leadership, reporting any issues as soon as they arise.
- Ensure internet connectivity meets minimum download speed requirements (100 Mbps, pending confirmation with IT).
- Participate in virtual team meetings with camera on.
- Maintain flexibility for holiday availability with adjusted work hours as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport.
- Decision-making ability to assess eligibility and enroll members effectively.
- Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in documentation and processes.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with claims processing and data entry.
- Background in customer service, operational support, or retail sales.
Education & Experience Requirements (Must meet one of the following):
- High school diploma or equivalent with two (2) years of experience in a specialized customer service environment.
- Two (2) years of college coursework (at least 48 credit hours) plus one (1) year of specialized customer service experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Additional Expectations:
- Must pass Customer Service Assessment Proficiency Test.
- Must be customer service-oriented with a focus on professionalism and efficiency.
- Open to fully remote candidates, including those outside Arkansas.
