Job Details
The Cabinet Production Specialist is responsible for building and assembling custom and pre-designed cabinets according to specifications. This role requires the ability to accurately read measurements, interpret blueprints and production drawings, cut and install materials, and ensure all finished products meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment while producing high-quality cabinetry.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and assemble custom and standard cabinetry according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders
- Measure, cut, and fit wood and other materials accurately
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely
- Inspect completed cabinets to ensure quality craftsmanship and accuracy
- Assist with sanding, finishing, staining, and preparation of cabinet components
- Support cabinet installation projects as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cabinet making, woodworking, carpentry, or a related field preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform accurate measurements
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical labor throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
