Cable & Harness Assembler

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble cables, wire harnesses, control boxes, and other electrical components according to specifications.
• Perform wire stripping, crimping, soldering, heat shrinking, and cable testing using hand tools and production equipment.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently during the assembly process.
• Read and follow work instructions using the Internal Document Control Server.
• Verify production kits and ensure all required materials are available before beginning assembly.
• Conduct cable testing using hand meters and automated testing equipment.
• Assist with first article creation and product verification.
• Complete parts requisitions as needed.
• Follow IPC-620 quality standards and company procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to use hand tools and production equipment.
• Experience with soldering, crimping, wire stripping, and cable assembly is a plus.
• Familiarity with IPC-620 standards is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequent use of hands for repetitive assembly tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality standards.
