This position is responsible for the operation of cutting materials on the laser to meet customer quality requirements. Operators are to perform at the highest level and have a continuous improvement cultured mindset.

Responsibilities and Duties for Press Brake:
• Operate press brake
• Use computer touch interface with multiple menus and functions
• Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements
• Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements
• Load and Unload Materials
• Manage multiple projects and timelines
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Previous CNC Experience a plus
• Must be able to read tape measure
• Experience with Calipers a plus
• Able to read and understand technical manuals
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to lift 50lbs plus
• Work weekends as needed
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Reliable Transportation
• Highly motivated and ready to work
• COVID vaccination required for our scope of work and customers
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly
• Valid driver’s license
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check
Responsibilities and Duties for Laser:
AREA Responsibility
• Everything to be cleaned daily to maintain at an immaculate level
• Everything within each cell to have a home position and shadows to verify at end of shift everything is in place
Accuracy
• Ultra-low percentage of mistakes
Equipment Operation
• Operator to take ownership of machine
• Run a VPO every morning before shift and as needed
• Check all (3) laser gas bottles every morning before shift and replace as needed
• Verify to see if material is available for job being cut
• Load and Unload Materials
• Log parts into ERP
• Keep workflow fed to the press brakes
• Do an hourly check of cut quality and make necessary adjustment
• Starts with not damaging any material
