1st Employment is seeking experienced and skilled Cold Header Operators for our client in Danville, AR. As a Cold Header Operator, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dedicated team responsible for running cold heading machines and producing high-quality parts and fasteners. You will be working for an industry-leading global distributor and manufacturer of fasteners and other components.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate cold heading machines to produce fasteners for regular, new, special, or experimental jobs.
- Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Keep machines clean and maintain an organized work area.
- Perform preventative maintenance, including lubricating machines when needed.
- Make minor repairs and notify maintenance for more complex issues.
- Perform a variety of tasks such as counting, cleaning, returning gauges and fixtures, transferring parts, and assembling tooling for the next job.
- Ensure the quality of your own work.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Knowledgeable in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality inspections.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools effectively.
