Job Details
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Collar Molding Operator to join our team supporting our client in Little Rock, AR. This position plays a critical role in the production process by ensuring collar fittings and related components are molded accurately and meet quality standards. The Collar Molding Operator will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting production goals while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and product quality. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate molding equipment to produce collar fittings and related components according to specifications
- Perform visual inspections of parts to identify defects or inconsistencies
- Ensure products meet required quality standards using measurement tools and gauges
- Trim molded parts as needed to meet final specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency
- Report machine malfunctions, product issues, or irregularities to technicians or team leads
- Identify and report parts that may need to be scrapped for quality control review
- Follow all work instructions, safety procedures, and production guidelines
- Support team members and assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed instructions and specifications
- Basic English reading and writing skills required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to identify different materials and finished products
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-change environment is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Required use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, and work boots
- Must be comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment
