Our staffing agency is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Collar Molding Operator for our client in Little Rock, AR. The Collar Molding Operator plays a key role in the manufacturing process by producing molded collar fittings and related components according to customer specifications. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced production environment and are committed to quality and safety.
The Collar Molding Operator is responsible for operating molding equipment, inspecting finished parts, and ensuring all products meet required standards before moving to the next stage of production. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are essential for success in the Collar Molding Operator role.
Key Responsibilities
- Mold collar fittings and related components according to specifications
- Visually inspect parts for defects to ensure quality standards are met
- Use Ohm testing equipment to verify collars meet required quality standards
- Trim molded parts as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Report product or machine issues to Technicians or the Lead immediately
- Identify and report parts that may need to be scrapped to the Lead or QC Technician for confirmation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow detailed specifications
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to identify different materials and products
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-change manufacturing environment preferred
