Our client in Fayetteville, AR, is looking to bring multiple Cooks and Dietary Aides onto their team to provide essential support within a fast-paced, healthcare-oriented environment. With both 1st and 2nd shifts available, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to meal preparation, delivery, and overall dietary services, ensuring that all patients, residents, and staff receive nutritious and delicious meals on a consistent basis. Key Responsibilities
As a Cook and Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for preparing, portioning, and delivering meals as outlined in the dietary guidelines. You will work closely with kitchen staff to ensure all meals meet nutritional standards and dietary restrictions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assisting in the preparation and cooking of a variety of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, following health and safety protocols.
- Setting up and cleaning food stations, ensuring that all kitchen areas are kept sanitary and organized.
- Adhering to portion control standards and ensuring meals are served according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
- Helping with the storage, rotation, and inventory of ingredients to maintain fresh supplies for meal preparation.
- Collaborating with dietary and kitchen staff to meet service times, respond to special dietary requests, and accommodate any necessary changes to menu plans.
Qualifications
To be considered for this Cook & Dietary Aide role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Previous experience in a food service, dietary, or kitchen setting is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of dietary needs and meal preparation guidelines is an asset.
- Ability to work well in a team, communicate effectively, and follow specific instructions.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work in a warm kitchen environment.
- Must have a flexible schedule to work 1st or 2nd shift as needed.
