1st Employment is seeking a dependable Cook & Dishwasher for our client, a hotel located in Bentonville, AR. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with food service experience who enjoy working in a hospitality environment. The primary responsibility of the Cook & Dishwasher will be preparing meals for hotel guests on weekends, while also assisting with dishwashing and kitchen support duties as needed.

The Cook & Dishwasher role is ideal for candidates seeking either part-time or full-time employment. Weekend cooking shifts are available on Saturdays and Sundays. Candidates interested in full-time hours must be willing to work as a dishwasher during the week and may also have opportunities to pick up additional cook shifts based on business needs.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, team-oriented, and committed to maintaining cleanliness, food quality, and safety standards. The Cook & Dishwasher must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while providing excellent service to hotel guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, menus, and hotel standards
• Ensure food is prepared and presented in a timely manner
• Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and dishwashing areas
• Assist with stocking and replenishing kitchen supplies
• Support kitchen staff during busy meal periods
• Monitor food quality and report any concerns to management
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Perform additional kitchen and hospitality duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous cooking, restaurant, hotel, or food service experience preferred
• Dishwashing experience is a plus
• Ability to work weekends as a cook
• Willingness to perform dishwashing duties during the week for full-time hours
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
