1st Employment is seeking a dependable and motivated Delivery Driver & Forklift Operator for a client in Centerton, AR. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of driving, warehouse work, and customer interaction. The Delivery Driver & Forklift Operator will be responsible for delivering flooring materials to job sites, operating forklifts, and assisting with warehouse operations while maintaining a high level of safety and professionalism.

This is a full-time position with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Candidates must be flexible, as start times may shift earlier based on delivery needs, and overtime may be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a flatbed delivery truck to transport flooring materials to customer locations and job sites.
• Load, unload, and move flooring supplies using a forklift.
• Operate a piggyback forklift mounted on the back of the delivery truck.
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and on-site personnel.
• Conduct routine inspections of delivery vehicles and equipment.
• Assist with warehouse duties, inventory movement, and material organization.
• Follow all company safety policies and transportation regulations.
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License required with a clean driving record.
• Forklift certification preferred, or a minimum of two years of forklift operating experience.
• Experience operating a piggyback forklift is strongly preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a 3-axle flatbed delivery truck.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without assistance.
• Strong attendance record and reliability.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with a variety of personalities.
