We are seeking a Non-CDL Local Delivery Driver (Box Truck) to join our client’s HVAC and appliance supply store and warehouse team in Rogers, AR. This is a first-shift position with a Monday through Friday schedule, typically between 8:00am – 5:00pm, with occasional Saturdays required. The ideal candidate will be dependable, professional, and customer-focused, with the ability to handle physical work and interact with customers in a courteous and helpful manner.
Job Summary:
The Non-CDL Local Delivery Driver (Box Truck) will play a key role in ensuring products are delivered safely and efficiently to customers, while also supporting warehouse operations. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a customer service attitude. The driver will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, coordinating with customers and maintenance workers on deliveries, and operating a company box truck for local routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company box truck to make local deliveries of HVAC and appliance products.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring products are handled with care and accuracy.
- Greet and assist customers both in the warehouse and during deliveries.
- Coordinate with customer maintenance workers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures while on the road and in the warehouse.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing shipments.
Qualifications
- Steady work history with proven reliability and punctuality.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Basic computer skills for order entry and documentation.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted on a regular basis.
- English proficiency required for communication with customers and team members.
- Must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
