Our client is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer (PE Required) to support and lead electrical design efforts as they continue to expand in the Northwest Arkansas region. This Electrical Engineer (PE Required) position offers a strong blend of hands-on technical work and leadership responsibility, making it an excellent opportunity for a driven professional who wants to play a key role in a growing organization. The Electrical Engineer (PE Required) will have the ability to influence both project outcomes and the overall direction of the engineering team.

Position Summary:
The Electrical Engineer (PE Required) will serve as a technical leader, overseeing electrical system design for a variety of commercial and industrial projects. This role requires strong expertise in electrical engineering principles, the ability to mentor team members, and confidence in serving as a primary point of accountability for electrical design work.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical system design for commercial and industrial projects
  • Design and develop power distribution systems, lighting layouts, and low-voltage systems
  • Serve as Engineer of Record for electrical projects
  • Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and standards, including NEC requirements
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and technical staff
  • Review and approve electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations
  • Assist with project planning, timelines, and client communication
  • Support business development initiatives through technical expertise and client interaction

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Strong experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical design
  • Proficiency in Revit required; AutoCAD experience is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of NEC and other relevant electrical codes
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
