Energy Efficiency Technician

Location: Fayetteville, AR

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Starting Pay: $15 per hour

Primary Responsibilities:

As an Energy Efficiency Technician, you will play a vital role in enhancing energy efficiency in residential settings. You will be responsible for performing home energy rating inspections using specialized diagnostic equipment, such as blower doors and duct blaster tests. Your expertise will also be needed for executing home energy retrofits, including tasks like air sealing and duct sealing. Your work will contribute directly to improving energy efficiency and sustainability in homes.

Desired Professional Attributes:

Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Experience in home renovation, construction, or HVAC is highly desired.

Proficiency in system diagnostics and thorough evaluation.

Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Preferred, But Not Required Professional Attributes:

Possession of certifications such as LEED-H Green Rater or AP, RESNET HERS Rater, BPI Energy Auditor is advantageous.
